Respite care, also known as a temporary stay, is a great solution for those caring for aging loved ones who may be going on vacation or who may simply need a temporary break from caregiving. Respite stays are also an option for anyone who could benefit from more recovery time or rehabilitation services provided by our rehab partner, Ageility, after surgery or other medical procedures.

For 30+ years, Pamela has been listening to — and learning from — residents, as she makes sure they are taking prescribed meds at the time their doctors ordered.

Memory Care Associate

Mary has been with Cascades of Bend since the facility opened in February of 2023, bringing with her 21 years of experience working in caregiving.

Brittney Thomas

Med Tech

Brittney has been a member of the Memory Care team at Cascades of Bend since we opened in February. Brittney’s attention to detail and organization is a great for both residents and staff.

Resident Care Coordinator

Jennie has been care associate & med tech for memory care for a year, bringing with her a 17-year career in caregiving. Jennie is fun and caring; and is passionate about her role as resident care coordinator.

Executive Director

Crystal began her career in senior living as a nurse and Wellness Director, bringing over seven years of experience in the field with a strong specialization in memory care. Her passion for senior care, combined with her clinical expertise, led her to transition into the operational side of the industry as an Executive Director.

Misty Nicholas-Liceaga

Associate Executive Director

Working with seniors has brought Misty much joy, which is why she’s devoted the past 20 years of her professional life to senior living. What she likes most: the daily smiles and hugs.

Kelly Graves

Life Enrichment Director

Kelly creates activities that are meaningful and fun. How she does it: By establishing personal relationships with residents so she knows what motivates and inspires them most.

Beverly Lakey

Business Office Manager

Beverly has worked in health care for over ten years; with experience in assisted living, long term care, and rehabilitation (transitional) care in both a hospital setting and facilities. “Life is a journey and I am grateful to be a part of their journey’s.”

Julie Gibbons, LPN

Wellness Director

Julie has been a LPN for 12 years and a CNA for 3 years prior in behavioral health, geriatric psych, skilled nursing, and more. “I’ve always been passionate about Memory Care due to personal experiences with family members who had Alzheimer’s.”

Kari has 26 years of experience in the realm of long-term care and is dedicated to the well-being of our cherished elders. Throughout her career, a true passion for assisting and enhancing the lives of seniors has been the driving force behind her contributions.
